Mongalo

Dr. Jose Luis Mongalo obtained his dental degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas. Then he completed the Implant Fellowship and Mastership programs of ICOI(International Congress of Oral Implantology).

He had the privilege to be trained at the Mish Institute, the Michael Pikos Institute and the LIT Institute, where he was able to master implant restorations and advanced surgical procedures such as: reconstructions of severely atrophic jaws, sinus lifts, block grafts, ridge split, teeth in a day, all onfour and all on X techniques, zygomatic implants, pterygoid implants, immediate implant placement, and computer guided surgery and more.

Dr. Mongalo has a considerable experience in the field of implantology which has allowed him to  transform the lives of the  patients he has treated in addition to the ones treated by the thousands of clinicians he has trained since 2009.

Dr. Mongalo continued his pasión of helping patients and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Hospital Universitario de Puebla and the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla where he received his specialty certificate.

Dr Mogalo continued his studies and enrolled as a Facial Trauma Fellow at Moreno Valle Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital (Hospital de Traumatología y Ortopedia Moreno Valle) in the city of Puebla.

He is currently certified by the Mexican Council of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Mexican Association of Buccal and Maxillofacial Surgery and is an active member of the latter.

Dr. Mongalo has contributed to several articles on the subjects of implantology and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Mongalo is a Fellow at the Maxillofacial Surgery and Reconstruction Hospital (Hospital de Reconstrucción y CirugíaMaxilofacial) of the Mexican Social Security Institute’s Western Medical Center (Centro Médico de Occidente).

Dr. Mongalo is an Associate Professor of the specialty of Maxillofacial Surgery at both Moreno Valle Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital and the University Hospital of the City of Puebla.

Dr. Mongalo is the Clinical Director of  Dental Implants The Course1-On-1 Training as well as  owner and director of his multi specialty private practice.

In addition to all his accomplishments, Dr. Mongalo keeps a private practice dedicated to maxillofacial surgery (facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, and reconstructive surgery) and implantology (“all on four” technique, “teeth in a day” technique, and zygomatic implant), and provides intensive trainings in implant dentistry.

Dr. Mongalo enjoys weightlifting, running, and playing chess.

Dr. Mongalo actively works with other specialists at the local, national, and international levels for the continuous improvement of his profession, in order to advance patient care. He is the founder of a non-profit organization aiming to help the general population where thousands of patients receive free treatment every year.
