Dr. Philip Kang is a distinguished professional in the field of periodontology, holding the esteemed status of diplomate with the American Board of Periodontology. Currently, he serves as Professor and Program Director of Postgraduate Periodontics at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kang’s academic journey includes a faculty position at the University of Pennsylvania, where he contributed as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics.
He earned his dental degree from the University of Michigan. Subsequently, he pursued advanced training, obtaining certificates in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and Periodontics from Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively.
In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Kang maintains a thriving full-time practice with a significant emphasis on dental implants and
